The 2009 SUCCESS Teens Program’s writing institute culminated in a collection of essays about the impact of President Barak Obama’s presidency on the lives of teenagers and their families. 

Mr. Timothy Bond, owner of True Vine Publishing Company volunteered over fifteen hours in a classroom setting to coach the group of eighteen 13 – 15 year olds on their writing skills.  The result of this interaction was a collection of essays which became a book published by True Vine Publishing Company.

The Oba-ME Project – Obama’s Impact on the New Generation can be purchased from the City of Life Corporation for a donation of $10.00.  Proceeds, above the cost of printing, from the sale of this book will go toward the Skills for Life Mentoring Program and the 2010 SUCCESS Teens Program.
